The short version
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not have a newsletter signup on this site. We do not sell data, and we do not run advertising networks or retargeting pixels.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. It records page views, approximate location at city level, device and browser type, referring site, and interactions such as using a calculator or clicking an outbound product link. We do not send names, email addresses, or any other directly identifying information into analytics.
Calculators
The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are not transmitted to us and are not stored. We record only that a calculator was used, never what you entered. That event goes to Google Analytics 4 as described above.
Affiliate links
Product links on this site point to Amazon and carry our affiliate identifier so that qualifying purchases are credited to us. When you follow one, Amazon's own privacy policy governs what they collect. We receive aggregate commission reporting from Amazon. We never receive your name, your address, or your payment details.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes request data including IP address in order to serve pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy terms.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to distinguish sessions; you can block them in your browser without breaking anything on this site.
Your choices
Browser-level tracking protection, an ad blocker, or a privacy extension will stop our analytics script from loading, and the site works normally with all of them. Nothing here is gated behind tracking.
We do not currently detect or respond to a Global Privacy Control signal. If we implement that, this page will say so before it ships, not after.
Children
This site is aimed at adults buying and maintaining RV electrical equipment and is not directed at children.
Changes
When what we collect changes, this page is updated before the change goes live, and the date at the top changes with it.
